So welcome to GotMilk Photography.. Over the past couple of years the site has changed and gone from one thought to the next. I’ve experimented with various different designs but never really felt settled. I finally decided to go into blogging and am pretty glad that i did. Its really simple and doesn’t take up too much time and overall looks pretty good i think. Its been a great way to display some of my work and show what interests me when it comes to photography!
As some of you may or may not know, i am still very new to photography. It started off as purely a hobby and as i have met a couple of influential people they have pushed me into shooting more and finding my eye to which i am forever thankful for! The person mostly “to blame” is Marcus Maschwitz (you can access his blog and portfolio from the links section on my page). He is an amazing photographer and i have been spending a lot of time with him lately and trying to soak up as much knowledge as i can before he leaves to start a new life with his chicken sauce in the UK (You know you going to do well so stop stressing boy!). The other person i have to thank is Christian Alegria (read that fast and see what name pops into mind!) way over on the north side of the world.. Our late night chats about photos and techniques have really helped too and even though it won’t be a while before we can shoot together, just checking out his amazing work has given me inspiration to look at things differently..
There are far too many aspects of photography out there and i am still trying to find what i enjoy shooting. I love shooting extreme sports but i also really have the urge to get involved in photojournalism and shoot the ‘hectic’ stuff out there.. Just not really sure how to get going on that so will see..
